Properties

  • 4-sided grinding: directly derived from the grinding of monobloc carbide drill bits. Flat cutting and undercutting sides with a constant clearance angle.

  • 35° type N flute: normal flute profile with a 35° helix angle.

  • 5% cobalt high-speed steel: HSS substrate enriched with 5% cobalt. Improved heat retention (strength, cutting sharpness)

  • 135° tip: 135° tip angle for the sharpening of the drill bit.

  • BLADE coating: TiAlN+TiCN base, thickness 2/4µm, hardness 3300HV, coefficient of friction 0.4, heat resistance 700°C.
